Virgin Blue - disruptions to reservations & check-in services this long weekend

Virgin Blue (and all subsidiaries – Pacific Blue, Polynesian Blue and V Australia) are migrating to a new reservations system this weekend which will cause significant disruptions to normal Virgin Services. See attached a summary of what will occur for the scheduled disruptions which will take place from  Saturday 12th June @ 6.00pm until Sunday 13th June @ 6.00pm

 

The key notes to highlight for those travelling during these times:

  • Guests travelling are required to check in 2 hours prior to departure for domestic and 3 hours for international
  • During the change over, the booking system will not be available for any bookings, changes or cancellations
  • Carryon luggage is recommended

This could have the potential to significantly disrupt travellers, so please ensure it is sent to all relevant staff within your business.
